We’re all waiting on something—a dream to come to life, a breakthrough to arrive, a healing to manifest, a prayer to be answered. And when the wait drags on, discouragement starts to whisper, “Maybe it’s not meant to be.” But I want to remind you today: delay is not denial—because God’s timing is perfect.

Isaiah 60:22 says, “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” Not you, not them, not luckthe Lord. That means your promotion, your healing, your miracle has already been scheduled by the God who cannot lie and does not fail. He knows exactly when and how to bring it to pass.

Behind the curtain of what you can’t see, God is working. Aligning people. Rearranging circumstances. Setting the stage. Not only is He preparing your blessing, He’s preparing you for it. What feels like a pause is often just preparation for something far greater than you imagined.

Don’t let the enemy rob you of peace by planting seeds of doubt: “It’s never going to happen.” That’s a lie. When the set time comes, no opposition, no mistake, and no delay can stop what God has ordained.

Abraham and Sarah waited decades for the promise of a son. From the outside, it looked hopeless—too much time had passed, their bodies too old, the odds too stacked against them. But God asked a question that still echoes through history: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14). At the appointed time, Sarah gave birth—not just to a child, but to a legacy.

What if what you’re waiting on is taking longer because it’s so much bigger than you thought? Sarah wanted a son. God gave her Isaac, the father of nations. You’re not just waiting for a moment—you’re waiting for a miracle that ripples across generations.

Even Jesus understood divine timing. At the wedding in Cana, when the wine ran out, Mary looked to her son for help. Jesus initially replied, “My time has not yet come.” Yet moments later, He turned water into wine. Why? Because even “not yet” can become “now” when Heaven moves.

You may feel like saying, “It’s not my time,” but I want to tell you: God is closer than you think. Doors can open in a moment. Healing can come in an instant. Your “not yet” may already be turning into a divine “now.”

So what should you do in the waiting?

Like Mary told the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.” Stay faithful. Keep praying. Keep sowing. Keep praising. Obey even when it’s hard. Speak life even when you feel tired. And declare God’s promises out loud:

  • “God, thank You that my right time is on the way.”
  • “I believe You’re aligning things in my favor.”
  • “I trust Your process, even when I don’t understand it.”

Psalm 31:15 reminds us: “My times are in Your hands.” That’s not just poetic—it’s powerful. Your timing isn’t random; it’s divinely orchestrated.

Friend, you’re closer than you think. There’s a shift coming—a move from waiting to receiving, from brokenness to restoration, from fear to fulfillment. God has “wow” moments scheduled for you, and when they arrive, you’ll stand in awe at how perfectly He timed it all.

Stay patient.
Stay faithful.
Stay expectant.

Because your right time is coming, and it’s going to be more than you asked, more than you dreamed, and greater than you imagined.

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You hold our times in Your hands. When we’re tired of waiting and tempted to give up, remind us that You are never late. You are always working—behind the scenes, within us, and around us. Help us to trust Your timing, even when it doesn’t make sense. Strengthen our hearts to stay faithful, joyful, and hopeful in the waiting.

Just as You fulfilled Your promise to Abraham and Sarah, just as You turned water into wine in a moment—do what only You can do in our lives. Shift our “not yet” into a powerful “now.” Surprise us with Your goodness. Let our testimony be that we waited, and it was worth it.

In Jesus’ name, we believe our right time is coming. Amen.
