Have you seen the latest job posting? It’s not on LinkedIn or Indeed, and you won’t find it listed in the classifieds. But the Employer is the most powerful, loving, and trustworthy Being you’ll ever serve under. He doesn’t require an advanced degree or a resume full of accolades. He’s simply looking for hearts willing to love, hands ready to serve, and voices willing to proclaim. Jesus is hiring—and the position is open now.
This divine job offer was posted over 2,000 years ago when Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:37–38). The job? To fulfill the Great Commission by living out the Great Commandment.
Job Title: Kingdom Worker
Employer: Jesus Christ, King of Kings
Location: Anywhere and everywhere—your neighborhood, workplace, home, and beyond
Position Type: Full-time, part-time, anytime—there’s always work to be done
Salary: Eternal rewards, daily grace, peace beyond understanding, joy unspeakable
Benefits: Salvation, unconditional love, divine purpose, community with other believers, an inheritance in heaven
Job Description:
Jesus is looking for people who will:
- Love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30)
- Love their neighbor as themselves (Mark 12:31)
- Go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19–20)
- Shine like lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15)
- Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and care for the least of these (Matthew 25:35–40)
Qualifications:
This might surprise you—Jesus doesn’t require perfection. He chooses the willing, not the flawless. From fishermen to tax collectors, adulterers to zealots, He’s always been about calling the unqualified and equipping them for Kingdom work. What matters most is a surrendered heart and a willingness to say, “Here I am, Lord. Send me” (Isaiah 6:8).
No formal training? No problem. The Holy Spirit will guide you (John 14:26).
Not confident in your speaking? God used Moses, and He can use you (Exodus 4:10–12).
Think your past disqualifies you? Ask Paul. He went from persecuting Christians to writing much of the New Testament (1 Timothy 1:12–16).
Responsibilities:
- Be a living testimony of God’s love (John 13:35)
- Share the Good News boldly and kindly (Romans 1:16)
- Serve without seeking recognition (Matthew 6:1–4)
- Forgive freely (Matthew 6:14–15)
- Pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)
- Walk in faith, even when the path is uncertain (2 Corinthians 5:7)
The Urgency:
Jesus made it clear: the harvest is ready. There are people all around us hungry for hope, desperate for peace, and longing for truth. But too often, we assume someone else will do the work. Someone else will speak up. Someone else will care.
But Jesus isn’t calling someone else—He’s calling you.
The clock is ticking. Souls are waiting. The world is in need of what only Christ can offer, and He chooses to work through us. His hands and feet. His voice. His light.
Don’t let fear, doubt, or busyness disqualify you from a calling that was handcrafted for your life. When we step into this divine assignment, we find true fulfillment. Not just in the results we see, but in the joy of partnering with God Himself in transforming lives.
How to Apply:
There’s no online form to fill out—just a simple prayer of surrender. Say “yes” to Jesus today. Ask Him to lead you, use you, and place you right where you’re needed. Start where you are. Love those around you. Look for divine appointments. And trust that He who calls you is faithful to complete the work in you and through you (Philippians 1:6).
He’s hiring.
The field is ready.
Will you go?
