Faith isn’t just for you—it’s a gift to share. Many around you may feel overwhelmed, dealing with sickness, loss, or lost dreams. Your faith can spark their breakthrough. Through encouragement, prayer, and kindness, you can help reignite their hope and passion.
Sometimes, we need “borrowed faith.” When you’re too discouraged, God sends friends to uplift, pray, and speak life over you. Be that friend for others. Instead of criticizing, offer support and pray for their purpose. Faith is meant to be shared—it can break chains, restore hope, and change lives.
A true friend supports during hardships. Friends need you when they falter, requiring your faith for hope. Just as you pray for your dreams, pray for others fighting for their families. The people in your life need your support. God relies on you to uplift others and provide healing, as your faith helps them pursue their dreams.
At the end of my life, I wish to be remembered for caring, praying for the weak, encouraging the downhearted, and sharing faith with the disadvantaged. Let’s support one another with faith, especially as many struggle post-pandemic. Many feel overwhelmed and lonely, losing hope. They need a voice of victory—your faith is more valuable than money, bringing healing and freedom.
Some don’t know how to pray or believe in healing, but when you ask God for their needs, your faith moves mountains. John described a vision where prayers rise to heaven, prompting action from God. When you pray, angels are dispatched, chains are broken, and favor is granted. Pray for those who don’t pray themselves, including a lonely neighbor seeking companionship.
Embrace opportunities to be a faithful friend. Your belief can redirect someone’s life from addiction. Is there someone in your life who needs your faith? God made us to rely on each other. Sometimes, your faith alone isn’t enough; you’ll need a friend during tough times. Offer your faith, and God ensures support comes your way.
In scripture, a paralyzed man accepted his fate, believing he could never walk. But four friends, believing otherwise, brought him to Jesus, saying, “We believe you can walk.” This man, lacking faith, was lifted by the belief of his friends, who declared, “Borrow our faith; we’ll believe for you.”
Four friends carried him on a stretcher to see Jesus across town. They were tired, their shoulders aching, but determined for the sake of their friend. My prayer: “God, grant us friends who love us enough to sacrifice, go the extra mile, and lend us their faith when ours wavers. They will uplift us when we are paralyzed.”
Paralysis can come from addiction, depression, or past mistakes. With friends of faith, God brings people who won’t let you stay paralyzed. When you think it’s hopeless, someone will help you move forward.
Arriving at Jesus’ crowded house, the friends chose to enter through the roof for their friend’s sake. God has surrounded you with others for support.
Don’t miss the chance to help someone—carry a friend to healing, pray for the hurting, or uplift a discouraged coworker. Each kindness is a seed that returns to you, often in greater abundance. Proverbs 19:17 states: “You lend to the Lord; He will repay you.” Sometimes, we must become the miracle ourselves to witness God’s work.
Four friends carried a paralyzed man to the roof and created a hole while Jesus spoke. Dust fell as they lowered him before Jesus. The scripture (Mark 2:5) notes, “When Jesus saw their faith”—not the man’s, but his friends’. Jesus then touched him, and he walked. Your faith can help others: a lonely coworker, an addicted neighbor, or a wayward relative. God gives us faith not just for ourselves, but to lift others into their destiny.
Be a friend with faith. Lift others up, pray for those struggling, and speak favorably of their dreams. I didn’t reach this point alone; I had faithful friends. Helping others rise provides fulfillment.
This echoes Naaman’s story. A respected Syrian captain with leprosy, he distanced himself from his family despite his success. A young Israeli maid told Naaman’s wife about the prophet Elijah, who could heal him. Rather than be bitter, she chose to help her captor. Naaman, lacking faith, borrowed hers.
He traveled 120 miles to see Elijah, who told him to wash in the Jordan River. After seven washes, he was healed. Grateful, he took dirt from the riverbank to worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in Syria. Thanks to the maid’s faith, he gained not only healing but also belief.
God sees your faith when you encourage your neighbor or invest in a young couple. Your faith helps others overcome and achieve their dreams. You are powerful and capable of healing. Observe those around you; they are in your life for a reason. When you help others like Naaman, you will also rise higher. Your generosity will return multiplied. I hope this speaks to you, and I pray you have a blessed day!
